The most important factors include:


1. Work schedule and call hours: 38 percent
2. Supportive organizational or practice environment: 17 percent
3. Starting salary and compensation: 15 percent
4. Flexibility in schedule: 10 percent
5. Educational and professional growth opportunities: 8 percent
6. Potential for career advancement: 7 percent
7. Organization or practice patient population: 5 percent
8. Amount of staff support: 3 percent
9. Prestige of the organization or practice: 3 percent
