3 Statistics on Physician Views of Self-Employment

A majority of employed physicians are likely to recommend employment over self-employment, according to Medscape’s Employed Doctors Report 2014.

The report includes responses from 4,600 physicians.

 

When asked if they would recommend employment over self-employment, employed physicians reported the following:

 

•    Likely — 64 percent
•    Neutral — 25 percent
•    Unlikely — 11 percent
