3 recent orthopedic leadership changes

So far in 2023, Becker’s reported on three major orthopedic leadership shifts.

1. Brian Cormican is now CEO of United Musculoskeletal Partners’ Texas market. Mr. Cormican will oversee five practices in Texas that have a combined 27 locations and 69 physicians.

2. Edward Tufaro, who has been Rothman’s senior vice president of operations, was named interim CEO after Christopher Olivia, MD, left his post at the Philadelphia-based practice.

3. Thomas Fondren is the new CEO of Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma in Tulsa. Mr. Fondren previously served as senior vice president of physician services and chief development officer at Healthcare Partners Investments.
