3 neurosurgeons open Brigham & Women’s Neurosurgery of Milford: 5 insights

Milford (Mass.) Regional Medical Center welcomed three neurosurgeons Timothy Smith, MD, PhD, Hasan Zaidi, MD, and Omar Arnaout, MD, to its staff, according to Patch.

Here are five insights:

 

1. The neurosurgeons joined Milford Regional Medical Center after opening the Brigham and Women’s Neurosurgery of Milford (Mass.).

 

2. Dr. Smith is an assistant professor at Boston-based Harvard Medical School. He underwent fellowship training in pituitary and endoscopic skull base neurosurgery at Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

 

3. A professor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Zaidi specializes in complex adult spinal deformities. He underwent dual fellowship training at Phoenix-based Barrow Neurological Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

 

4. Dr. Arnaout is fellowship trained in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery from The Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He also underwent fellowship training in skull-based surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

 

5. All three physicians will provide patients services to treat comprehensive brain and spine diseases, such as spinal stenosis, complex spinal reconstruction and brain tumors.
