The Spine Center of Excellence, a 34,000-square-foot facility, will include an ASC with four operating rooms, four pain procedure rooms, a medical office building and an imaging center.

Several spine and neurosurgeons are involved in the project: David Cavanaugh, MD; Euby J. Kerr, MD; Andrew Utter, MD; Peter Campbell, MD; Rishi Wadhwa, MD; and Pierce Nunley, MD.

“We launched our dream of a multidisciplinary spine institute in 2003,” Dr. Nunley told the publication. “We are excited to expand into Bossier City and open a new chapter with the launching of Spine Center of Excellence. This center will be 100 [percent] dedicated to the treatment of spinal disorders and the first of its kind in the entire region.”

The facility is expected to be open in the fall of 2022.
