2 spine surgeons among 4 physicians to join Illinois Bone & Joint Institute

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute has added two spine surgeons, an orthopedic trauma surgeon and a foot and ankle surgeon to its ranks, the practice announced Sept. 1.

The Des Plaines-based practice now has 162 physicians, according to its website.

The four surgeons who most recently joined the practice are:

1. Jacob, Babu, MD, spine and orthopedic trauma surgeon

2. William Mosenthal, MD, spine surgeon

3. Alexander Crespo, MD, orthopedic trauma surgeon

4. Daniel Dean, foot and ankle surgeon

In July, Illinois Bone & Joint Institute launched Epic as its new electronic medical record system to standardize practices and streamline the patient visit across its 100-plus locations.
