2 spine practices combine in South Carolina — 5 notes

McLeod Orthopaedic Associates and Pee Dee Orthopaedic Associates are relocating to Florence, S.C., to combine as one entity April 2.

Here are five notes.

1. The McLeod Centers for Advanced Orthopedics offers comprehensive orthopedic and spine care through McLeod Orthopaedics, McLeod Pediatric Orthopaedics and McLeod Spine Center.

2. McLeod Orthopaedics encompasses nine physicians who will now provide care at the McLeod Medical Park Five, a new ambulatory surgery center and medical office building.

3. The physicians include Rodney Alan, MD, Barry Clark, DO, Patrick Denton, MD, Christopher Litts, MD, Thomas Mezzanotte, MD, Jason O’Dell, MD, Chadley Runyan, MD, Nigel Watt, MD, and David Woodbury, MD.

4. Albert Gilpin, MD, will serve patients within the McLeod Pediatric Orthopaedics practice in Florence.

5. Former Pee Dee Spine Center surgeons Bill Edwards, Jr., MD, Rakesh Chokshi, MD, and Anthony Alexander, MD, will now provide care at the McLeod Spine Center in Florence.
