The agreement is Rothman’s first expansion outside of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, where it is partnered with Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health.
Here are two payers the practice partnered with in June as part of its Florida expansion:
1. Rothman contracted with Cigna for in-network value-based care in Florida. The group had a longstanding relationship with Cigna prior to this new deal, which gives Cigna members in-network care at Rothman facilities.
2. Rothman also partnered with Aetna for in-network care in Florida. The partnership aims to reduce unnecessary cost of care and improve patient access, quality and outcomes, according to Alexander Vaccaro, MD, PhD, president of Rothman Orthopaedics.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
