2 orthopedic practices adding new EHRs in April

Becker’s reported on two orthopedic practices upgrading their EHR systems in April.

1. Advanced Orthopedics New England, which is based in Hartford, Conn., added AthenaOne as its electronic health record system. AthenaOne’s platform upgrades the orthopedic practice’s EHR and automates communications with patients, according to a news release. The system also has a mobile app to help clinicians with efficient documentation.

2. Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates in Torrington, Conn. is transitioning its EHR to eClinicalWorks. The EHR includes tools including Prisma, a health information search engine; Healow TeleVisits for telehealth and eClinicalMessenger.
