The academic hospital is a partnership between the University of Central Florida in Orlando and HCA North Florida Division. It has four operating rooms and the full spectrum of imaging and lab services.
UCF Lake Nona Medical Center has more than 250 physicians, with 64 inpatient beds and a 20-bed emergency department.
Other specialty services include cardiology, gastroenterology, urology and infectious disease.
The hospital expects to see 17,000 patients this year.
