Four things to know:
1. The Greenwich, Conn.-based company partnered with Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset in Great Neck, N.Y., a practice that treats more than 90,000 patients per year.
2. Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset, a 15-physician group with three locations, joined Greenwich-based Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists and Orthopedic Associates of Middletown (Conn.) as Spire affiliates. Spire now has 50 physicians and 450 employees within its practice network.
3. Spire provides practice management services, financial capital and operational resources to orthopedic and spine physicians who aim to grow their practices. Affiliate practices can then purchase new technology, develop ancillary services and engage in new payment models.
4. Kohlberg & Co. is Spire’s capital partner.
