The new facility will be home to Sanjiv Mehta, MD, a Louisville, Ky.-based orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement, orthopedic trauma and fracture care.
The 7,400-square-foot space will provide orthopedic and diagnostic services in one location.
The board also approved $1.1 million in funding for a new urgent care center in the region.
