Orthofix has appointed current COO Robert S. Vaters as its new president and CEO effective August 1, according to a company news release.
The company's current president and CEO Alan Milinazzo will step down after six years with the company but remain on the board of directors. Mr. Vaters joined Orthofix in 2008 as CFO and previously served as partner and co-founder of Med Opportunity Partners, a healthcare private equity firm.
