CareCloud, a Miami, Fla.-based healthcare software company, has entered into a partnership with OrthoSensor, a developer of intelligent orthopedic devices, to provide evidence-based data to physicians and hospitals, according to a CloudCare news release.
Under the partnership, CloudCare will apply its computing platform to assist OrthoSensor in collecting and reporting clinical data. Hospitals and physicians will have the ability to integrate real-time data on implant placement and performance with patient records to improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.
OrthoSensor's intelligent devices use microelectronics and sensors to provide actionable information about orthopedic implant placement and performance. CareCloud's technology will integrate the device's information directly into patient records.
