Osso VR, a virtual reality training company, is expanding its specialties to include endoscopy and interventional procedures, according to a March 23 report from VR Focus.
The new modules will allow surgeons to train in endoscopy and interventional procedures using virtual reality. Osso VR recently received a $14 million series A investment round led by Kaiser Permanente Ventures.
Osso VR was founded in 2016 and started as a tool for orthopedic surgeons. In February, the company added orthopedic surgeon Ken Yamaguchi, MD, to its advisory board.
