Smith+Nephew on May 20 launched the Journey II unicompartmental knee system.

Three things to know:

1. Combined with Smith+Nephew's Navio Surgical System, Journey II UK can use intraoperative planning software and robotic guidance to facilitate implant placement.

2. The device features an increased size range for femoral parts and medial tibia base plates, which allows for optimal bone coverage in the medial and lateral sections of the knee.

3. Journey II UK is available for partial knee applications in North America and Europe.
