NuVasive's radiation reduction device LessRay recently won the "Best New Imaging Technology Solution" honor at the 2020 MedTech Breakthrough Awards.
Three things to know:
1. LessRay enhances low-quality fluoroscopy images to generate images with similar diagnostic attributes to traditional full-dose images.
2. The system is equipped with surgical efficiency features to save time during spine surgery, allowing for reduced time under anesthesia for patients.
3. LessRay was previously honored at the 2019 Edison Awards, the 2019 Medical Design Excellence Awards and won the 2019 Spine Technology Award.
