Life Spine reports double-digit revenue growth, 7 new FDA gains in 2019

Life Spine reported "significant growth" in 2019, with record revenues driven by high demand for micro-invasive technologies, the company announced Jan. 17.

Five things to know:

1. Life Spine gained seven FDA 510(k) clearances in 2019, bringing its total number of FDA 510(k) clearances to 88.

2. The spine-focused devicemaker attributed 20 percent growth in adjusted EBITDA to double-digit top-line revenue growth year over year.

3. Life Spine's 2019 milestones included launching three new expandable technologies.

4. Year-over-year revenue growth for Life Spine's Simpact Sacroiliac Joint Fixation System was 131 percent.

5. The company has sold more than 11,000 units of its Prolift Expandable Spacer System in 30 countries.
