DePuy Synthes launched its Symphony Occipito-Cervico-Thoracic System Dec. 6, expanding its portfolio for the treatment of cervical and thoracic spine disorders, reports News Medical Life Sciences.
Three insights:
1. Symphony includes a set of instruments and implants intended for stabilization of the spine in patients undergoing posterior cervical fusion surgery.
2. The system is designed to streamline spine procedures and enhance fixation, alignment, targeting and extensions.
3. Symphony decreases the number of instrument trays from six to two, which may also provide cost savings in processing and sterilization.
