OrthoPediatrics launched the PediFoot deformity correction system.

Four insights:

1. The PediFoot device offers small plates and screws to facilitate the addressing of cavus foot, flatfoot, clubfoot and hallux valgus foot deformities.

2. It is intended for lateral column lengthening, calcaneal slide osteotomies, opening and closing wedge osteotomies as well as arthrodesis procedures.

3. PediFoot features StarLoc, which is the company's variable angle locking screw technology.

4. The device also features PediPedal, which is a combination of non-slip platforms and handle that helps surgeons take simulated weight-bearing X-rays intraoperatively.
