German orthobiologics company curasan AG will launch Spinevisc at the German Orthopedic and Traumatology Congress in Berlin from Oct. 22 to 25.

Three insights:

1. Spinevisc is a biomimetic hyaluronic acid product to treat spinal facet joint arthrosis.

2. The product has a medium molecular weight similar to the body's synovial fluids.

3. The company hopes Spinevisc will open new distribution channels and reach new target groups such as spine surgeons, interventional pain therapists and neuroradiologists.
