Medtronic unveiled four new additions to its Surgical Synergy platform during the North American Spine Society's meeting, Sept. 25-28 in Chicago.

Medtronic also announced plans to cut 100 jobs from its Santa Rosa, Calif., operation.

Viseon recently received FDA clearance and reported the first clinical use of its Voyant System for spine surgery.
