Kuros Biosciences to launch new bone graft at NASS — 4 things to know

Spinal Tech

Kuros Biosciences is set to unveil its new bone graft, MagnetOs, at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Chicago from Sept. 25 to 28.

Four things to know:

1. MagnetOs is an implantable bone graft with submicron surface topography that supports the formation of bone, rather than scar tissue.

2. Preclinical models demonstrated MagnetOs' ability to form bone in soft tissues without the need for added cells or growth factors.

3. Kuros Biosciences will also feature Fibrin-PTH, which was approved by the FDA for a Phase 2a clinical trial in September.

4. Fibrin-PTH consists of a natural fibrin-based healing matrix with an immobilized targeted bone growth factor, designed to apply onto and around an intervertebral body fusion device as a gel.
