Florida hospital offers new navigation system for spine surgery — 3 things to know

Orange City, Fla.-based Advent Fish Memorial is providing TrackX technology for spine procedures, reports The West Volusia Beacon.

Three things to know:

1. TrackX is an image-guided navigation device that aims to make spine surgery quicker and more precise.

2. It uses tracking software that enables surgeons to take minimal X-rays — reducing radiation exposure — and accurately visualize the anatomy in real-time during surgery.

3. TrackX features can be easily assembled and clips directly onto instrumentation.
