SeaSpine launches cervical interbody implant system — 3 insights

SeaSpine Holdings launched the Shoreline RY Cervical Interbody Implant System on the heels of the first surgery being successfully completed.

What you should know:

1. The implant is the company's first to feature its NanoMetalene technology and Reef Topography. SeaSpine intends to release five more products with the pairing by the end of 2020.

2. SeaSpine's Reef Topography is a term for machined macrostructures that act as integrated fusion scaffolding. The unique topography provides more endplate surface area for surgeons.

3. Surgeons can use the implant system in anterior cervical discectomy fusion procedures.
