CHI St. Vincent opens neuroscience research & education center

Little Rock, Ark.-based CHI St. Vincent opened the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute Research and Education Center to improve neurosurgery research in Arkansas.

What you should know:

1. CHI St. Vincent invested $30 million into a series of neurosurgery-focused education and research facilities in Arkansas. The institute is the crown jewel of those efforts.

2. The center includes a research and education center, a laboratory, a neurosurgery-focused cadaver lab and an auditorium.

ANI Director Ali Krisht, MD, said: "This is not just a new building, but a beacon of light for neurosurgeons around the world. … This center will become an oasis for all the thinkers and people who deal with neurosurgical problems to come learn with us and at the same time contribute to our learning."
