2019 Medtech Breakthrough awards honors 3 orthopedic companies

Several medical device companies that include orthopedic products were honored at the MedTech Breakthrough Awards, which recognizes the top digital health and medical technology companies across the globe.

Here are three orthopedic companies who won and their categories:

Medacta International — Best Healthcare Robotics Solution
Johnson & Johnson — Best Overall Medical Device Company
RTI Surgical — Best New Technology Solution, Orthopedics

Other notable winners at the MedTech Breakthrough Awards included: HP — Best Use of 3D Printing; Advanced Bionics — Best Overall Medical Device Solution; ResMed — Best Overall Medical Device Product; TransEnterix — Best New Technology, Surgical; and Abbott — Best New Technology Solution, Pain Management.
