Bedford, Mass.-based biotechnology company Anika Therapeutics will feature its orthobiologics and regenerative medicine lineup at the 12th Biennial International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Congress in Mexico.

The event, which Anika is a gold sponsor of, began May 12 and runs through May 16.

Three things to know:

1. Anika is set to feature a lecture session on HYALOFAST for the repair of chondral or osteochondral lesions, and CINGAL, which is a combination of hyaluronic acid and steroid treatment to combat osteoarthritis.

2. The company will also feature its injectable, hyaluronic acid-based, surgical bone repair therapy and conduct demonstrations of HYALOFAST procedures with the arthroscopic virtual surgery simulator.

3. The ISAKOS Congress highlights a variety of new preventative, therapeutic and surgical technique information, featuring surgical demonstrations, paper presentations, debates, lectures, symposia and instructional course lectures.

4. "Orthopedic sports medicine and sports-related injuries are a key focus for us given our extensive treatment portfolio that spans the continuum of orthopedic care," said Joseph Darling, president and CEO of Anika Therapeutics.
