ExplORer Surgical brought a former Medtronic executive onboard and closed a $5 million financing round for its workflow management and analytics platform.
Affinity Capital Management President Kris Johnson joined ExplORer Surgical's board of directors. She worked at Medtronic for 17 years, most recently serving as senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
Aphelion Capital led ExplORer Surgical's funding round. The investor also led an initial Series A Financing round in September 2017.
