Sean Lennon will succeed Mike Hedges as Medtronic's CIO.

Three details:

1. Mr. Lennon will join Medtronic April 29. His new role involves leading the development and execution of Medtronic's global strategies.

2. Mr. Lennon most recently served as CIO at Allergan, where he guided the consolidation of several enterprise resource planning systems and helped form a digital leadership council.

3. Mr. Hedges is stepping down as CIO after 10 years in the position and nearly two decades at Medtronic.
