Medtronic is closing a Portsmouth, N.H.-based facility that will affect around 150 employees, according to a New Hampshire Union Leader report.
Four key notes:

2. Medtronic plans to begin transferring staff from the closing facility to its enabling technologies facility in Louisville, Colo., in late April. The impacted employees can apply for open positions within the company.
3. The company will offer severance packages and outplacement services in addition to the opportunity to relocate for new positions within the company.
4. Medtronic employs more than 86,000 people worldwide.
