Carl O'Connell is the new CEO of McGinley Orthopedics, an orthopedic-focused medical device company, NBC affiliate KCWY 13 reports.

What you should know:

1. Company Founder and CEO Joseph McGinley developed the company from an idea he sketched on a napkin.

2. McGinley is bringing in Mr. O'Connell to grow the company worldwide.

3. More than 600 procedures have been performed with McGinley's Intelli-sense Drill Technology, which prevents common errors in trauma and spine procedures.

4. Mr. O'Connell is an orthopedic device company veteran. He has more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
