Southern Spine released three StabiLink Dual Lamina Implants designed for upper thoracic clinical use.

1. Alan H. Daniels, MD, published a case study using the StabiLink Dual Lamina constructs as an adjunct to long segment and pedicle screw deformity constructs to help prevent proximal junctional kyphosis and proximal junctional failure.
2. The case study highlights clinical outcomes using the StabiLink Dual Lamina Implant on 16 deformity patients for proximal junctional kyphosis prevention with follow-up ranging from two months to over one year. “This strategy may be more robust in some cases than ligamentoplasty, and is easily and rapidly applied,” Dr. Daniels wrote in the case study.
3. Southern Spine CEO David C. Field said, “We believe that the new StabiLink Thoracic sizes are an excellent choice to provide a 'softer landing' between the stiff pedicle screw construct and the un-instrumented spine.”
4. Southern Spine now has 13 issued U.S. and international patents for its StabiLink MIS Interlaminar Spinal Fixation System.
