Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Synthes plans to create 30 new jobs at its Ireland hub because of a $41.16 million investment, according to the Business Irish.
Three details:
1. The five-year research and development investment project is aimed at scaling DePuy Synthes' activities at its Ireland Innovation Centre in Ringaskiddy.
2. DePuy Synthes will establish 3D printing at the Ringaskiddy location. Johnson & Johnson opened a 3D bioprinting laboratory in 2018 at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).
3. The project is supported by the business, enterprise and innovation department through IDA Ireland.
The Cork, Ireland, team "continues to develop groundbreaking healthcare solutions, underlining our ongoing commitment to improving patient outcomes and shaping the future of healthcare delivery," DePuy Synthes Vice President of Global Supply Chain Shannon Crespin told the Business Irish.
