Miach Orthopaedics, a company that develops bio-engineered implants for connective tissue repair, welcomed Martha Shadan as president and CEO.

2. She has served as executive chairwoman of the company's board since September 2018.
3. Most recently, Ms. Shadan served as global vice president of marketing at Smith & Nephew. She assumed the role after Smith & Nephew acquired Rotation Medical, where she served as president and CEO.
4. Ms. Shadan served in senior leadership positions with Zimmer Biomet, Covidien, Bristol Myers Squibb Co. and Merck Millipore.
