4 things to know about VGI Medical

Spinal Tech

VGI Medical is a spine device company.

Here are four things to know:

1. Founded in 2007, VGI developed its VerteLoc Minimally Invasive Spine Stabilization System to stabilize and fuse the facet joint using a novel dual geometric design intended to limit the motion of the affected spinal segment.

2. The company launched SiJoin in 2013 for sacroiliac joint fusion.

3. VGI Medical released the VerteLP for lateral interbody fusion. The device is designed to combat insufficient implant fixation and pedicle screw interference. VerteLP lateral plating fixation does not comprise endplates or vertebral bodies and does not interfere with the placement of pedicle screws in primary cases or at adjacent levels.

4. The company also offers the VGI Medical Cancellous Sponge demineralized bone matrix for spinal fusion and CerLoc Posterior Cervical Fusion system.
