9 of the biggest device company acquisitions in 2018

Industrial technology company Colfax acquired orthopedic surgical device company DJO Global for $3.15 billion.
After beginning its strategic and equity investment in Mazor Robotics two years ago, Medtronic fully acquired the spinal robotics company for $1.64 billion.
Stryker inked a deal to acquire minimally invasive spine device company K2M for approximately $1.4 billion.
Stryker completed its Entellus Medical acquisition for $662 million.
Wright Medical agreed to purchase orthopedic device company Cartiva for $435 million.
To further establish itself in the spine market, RTI Surgical acquired Paradigm Spine in an up to $300 million deal.
Stryker acquired HyperBranch Medical for $220 million in an all-cash transaction.
Stryker acquired San Francisco-based Invuity, a surgical illumination products company, for $190 million.
Orthofix acquired Spinal Kinetics, a privately held company focused on artificial discs, for up to $105 million.
