1. A leader in sensor-assisted technology for total knee replacement, OrthoSensor's Verasense is designed to relay real-time data back to surgeons intraoperatively. The sensor is designed to reduce patient's recovery time and improve activity levels with better knee function.
2. Verasense has been studied in 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 100-plus scientific presentations and more than 15 ongoing clinical studies. OrthoSensor’s most recent publication displayed positive outcomes in patients followed three years postoperatively.
3. The system recently earned approvals in Japan and FDA clearance of Verasense for Zimmer Biomet Persona. To boost its position in the market, OrthoSensor is partnered with Smith & Nephew, Stryker and Zimmer Biomet.
