SeaSpine snags former NuVasive VP as new spinal systems executive: 5 observations

SeaSpine appointed Dennis Cirino as senior vice president of spinal systems, effective immediately.

Here are five observations:

1. Mr. Cirino has more than 25 years of experience in the spine industry, serving in various sales and marketing leadership roles.

2. Prior to joining SeaSpine, Mr. Cirino spent eight years climbing the ranks at NuVasive.

3. Most recently, Mr. Cirino served as vice president of market development for computer-assisted surgery at NuVasive.

4. Mr. Cirino spent a decade at Medtronic, leading marketing and development teams focused on spinal systems, biologics and pain stimulation.

5. As senior VP, Mr. Cirino will lead all aspects of SeaSpine's spinal implants activities and initiatives. He will spearhead direction for product innovation and development, marketing services, surgeon and sales education and international strategy.
