Here is the 2017 compensation for seven medical device company CFOs for the biggest players in the orthopedic and spine space, according to data from the companies' SEC filings as reported by salary.com.

1. Karen Parkhill. Executive Vice President and CFO of Medtronic: $9.4 million

2. Dominic Caruso. Executive Vice President and CFO of Johnson & Johnson: $9.3 million

3. Daniel Florin. Executive Vice President, CFO and Former Interim CEO of Zimmer Biomet: $4.9 million

4. Glenn S. Boehnlein. Vice President and CFO of Stryker: $3.1 million

5. Doug Rice. CFO of Orthofix: $1.3 million

6. Rajesh Asarpota. Executive Vice President and CFO of NuVasive: $1.1 million

7. Greg Cole. CFO of K2M: $1.1 million
