Implanet offered insight into the progression of its partnership with L&K BIOMED.
Here are six things to note:
1. Implanet and South Korea-based L&K Biomed entered into a preliminary agreement in December 2017.
2. The partnership is designed to boost Implanet's expansion in the U.S. and Asia.
3. Under the agreement, Implanet finalized a distribution agreement with Aegis Spine, a U.S. subsidiary of L&K Biomed.
4. Implanet will leverage its partnership with Aegis Spine to enhance its commercialization in the U.S.
5. The companies' Asian and European teams are focused on regulatory, marketing and commercial efforts for two product line launches, as well.
6. In February, Implanet will welcome L&K BIOMED's technical and sales teams at its headquarters in Bordeaux, France, for training.
