ProMedica Toledo (Ohio) Hospital implemented Synaptive Medical's BrightMatter technology.

Here are four points:

 

1. The Ohio hospital is the first in the state to acquire BrightMatter.

 

2. The technology offers imaging, planning, navigation and robotics for surgeons performing complex brain tumor or spine surgery.

 

3. Surgeons leverage BrightMatter to perform minimally invasive procedures specific to the patient. The technology features diffusion tensor imaging to create a customized surgical approach.

 

4. The technology combines the customized surgical plan with navigation so surgeons can view fiber tracts in real time.
