ChoiceSpine received FDA approval for Hawkeye Ti, a 3-D printed, titanium vertebral body replacement devices.

Here are five takeaways:

 

1. Hawkeye Ti is designed to stabilize and fuse the vertebral column with simple implants in a variety of shapes and sizes.

 

2. The portfolio contains small and large implants ranging from 10 to 50 millimeters in height with zero to six degree lordosis.

 

3. Hawkeye Ti offers the same completed implant portfolio as the original Peek Hawkeye device, and adds a 3-D printed open titanium structure to optimize bone in-growth.

 

4. ChoiceSpine is continuing to develop other 3-D devices.
