McGill University Health Center to leverage Scopis navigation, augmented reality solutions: 3 things to know

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based McGill University Health Center will serve as the first reference site in North America for Scopis' target-guided surgery and augmented reality technologies for ear, nose and throat surgeries.

Here are three things to know:


1. Dr. Marc Tewfik, MUHC's director of rhinology, has already performed many surgeries using Scopis technology.


2. The combined technology allows surgeons to establish safely tested pathways based on pre-surgical plans.


3. Scopis' solutions are intended to cut operating time and improve clinical outcomes.
