Assure Holdings began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on May 29, according to Investorideas.com.

Here are six notes:

1. Preston Parsons, a former NFL quarterback, founded the intraoperative neuromonitoring company. He played for the Denver Broncos from 2005 to 2007.

2. Assure Neuromonitoring, a wholly owned subsidiary of Assure Holdings, leverages its own staff of technologists and its own monitoring equipment to deliver consistent and accountable services.

3. The company made its start in Colorado in 2015 for spine surgeries, but hopes to expand to other states and types of surgeries.

4. Assure Neuromonitoring provides all intraoperative neuromonitoring scheduling and setup as well as bills for technical services, eliminating the need for third-party vendors.

5. The company created a platform that aims to engage the surgeon, technologist, neurologist and patient.

6. In 2016, the company saw revenues of $5.52 million and $4.3 million in EBITDA. The company completed a $3.14 million private placement in March.
