1. The "Prospective Post Approval Clinical Follow-Up Study of the Commercially Available U2 Knee System" recently enrolled its first patient.
2. Researchers will conduct a prospective, single arm, multicenter, post-market study of U2 Knee System's short and long term performance and implant survivorship.
3. David Cashen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics, is leading the study.
4. Researchers plan on enrolling up to 200 patients and will follow the patients for seven years.
