Implanet has been granted permission by U.S. FDA and European CE to produce, promote, and sell the Jazz Frame, which will improve the quality of hybrid surgical techniques.

Here are five things to know:

1. Jazz Frame is the latest link in the Jazz Brand, which allows surgeons to reduce major spinal deformities and maximize patients' long-term benefits.

2. The Jazz Brand uses sublaminar braid implants to lessen the impact scoliotic deformities may have while stabilizing frontal and sagittal balance.

3. Professor Keyvan Mazda, MD, PhD, of Robert Debre Hospital, APHP, in Paris said that the Jazz Brand has proven more successful than the traditional "all-screw or hook-and-screw assemblies."

4. French-based Implanet, which operates out of an additional office in Boston, expects the marketing release of Jazz Frame to hit their various markets in the first quarter of 2017.

5. The company predicts that their newest product will improve and ease patients' recoveries.
