Principal Financial Group decreases NuVasive stake by 43% — 5 takeaways

Des Moines, Iowa-based Principal Financial Group cut its stake in San Diego-based NuVasive by $10.22 million, according to Chester Independent.

Here are five takeaways:

 

1. Principal Financial Group sold 154,870 shares as NuVasive's stock increased 20.99 percent.

 

2. At the end of the third quarter in 2016, Principal Financial Group had 206,071 NuVasive shares, valued at $13.74 million.

 

3. NuVasive has a market capitalization of $2.98 billion.

 

4. Since April 8, 2016, NuVasive shares have increased 21.69 percent.

 

5. The company has outperformed the S&P500 by 16.04 percent.
