Stryker's spine division introduces LITe BIO Delivery System: 7 key points

Spinal Tech

Stryker's spine division unveiled its LITe BIO Delivery System.

Here are seven key points:

1. The LITe BIO Delivery System is a hand-held device used to facilitate bone graft material delivery to spinal surgery sites.

2. The system is designed to simplify graft delivery and offer a direct visualization of graft placement.

3. The system features a radiolucent strip which allows visualization under fluoroscopy.

4. The disposable cannula provides delivery of up to 5 cc of bone graft at one time.

5. Surgeons may use any type of autograft, allograft or synthetic bone graft material with the LITe BIO Delivery System.

6. The system is mallet free, thus eliminating bone graft impaction.

7. Surgeons may use the patented system for spine fusions and minimally invasive procedures.

"Our new LITe BIO Delivery System is innovative in the marketplace, simplifying graft delivery for spine surgeons," said Bradley Paddock, president, Stryker's spine division. "Its sleek, versatile design can accommodate any bone graft material and provides surgeons with direct visualization to aid in the precise placement of the graft, which is important for optimal fusion. No other system combines all of these key features — the LITe BIO Delivery System truly is advanced delivery, simplified."
