Spinal Tech

The American Joint Replacement Registry and Q-Centrix recently announced that they would partner to help improve data submission efficiency for hospitals and orthopedic practices.

Here's what you should know.

1. Q-Centrix is also partners with the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and M2S in a similar fashion.

2. Through the partnerships, organizations will be able to use data to compare surgical outcomes and attempt to meet federal quality initiatives through the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement Model. The model offers "bonus points" for reporting patient-outcomes.

3. Q-Centrix makes that data transmission easier. Annually Q-Centrix has processed more than 1 million transactions.
